This event will discuss women’s energy entrepreneurship and showcase how gender-informed business models are scaling access to energy, as well as increasing gender equality and women’s empowerment. Participants will hear from practitioners, researchers, entrepreneurs, and policy makers who will share the latest evidence, lessons learned, and case studies on how gender has been integrated throughout the household energy sector, how women have successfully been leading the way as entrepreneurs, and how their engagement has led to women’s economic empowerment.
