Himalayan Innovations is a for profit entity that works on introducing innovative , non-intrusive technology in Nepal. Focussing on Engineering, Technology and Design. Himalayan Innovations aims to bridge traditionally isolated sectors through cross cutting innovation projects relating to renewable energy. Himalayan Innovation focuses primarily on design, development prototyping and pilots and partners with other grassroots organisations for scaled implementation of the projects

Clean Cooking Activities
Himalayan Innovations runs a green initiative called "girls4rurals" that has network of 160 young girls(women energy leaders of tomorrow). It started when I came to realise the fact that it is one thing for a technology to be made available and another thing for girls and women to actually know how to use it while doing research in rural community. Girls4rurals aims to solve such issues mobilising the trained young girls in the rural community to avail the technology in this case( clean cooking stove preferably induction cooking) and make it affordable by pay go model for efficient RE financing along with the awareness that investment in renewable energy technologies is a sustainable investment.
Partnership
I am seeking for a partnership to promote and advocate on clean cooking. enhancing efficiency of bio mass,bio char and or replacing via induction cooking through pay as you go model in rural communities of Nepal through girls4rurals network of my social enterprise, Himalayan Innovations.
