Using bamboo to produce charcoal
The demand for charcoal and firewood increases strongly and® causes® uncontrollable deforestation in the southern forest region of my country. However, there is a lot of untapped bamboo or very little exploited that can serve as an alternative source.
My mission it is to promote the benefits of bamboo including the production of® charcoal.
On the other hand, this technology enables the production of bamboo charcoal, may produce biochar to fertilize farmland and produce electricity for homes and electronics.®
Partnership
My organization will share its experience across Africa® because it is a model of integrated development that adapts to local conditions, using local materials, with the transfer of technology from Europe.
