Mission
Vision: The vision of Matribhumi Urja Pvt. Ltd. is to improve health and sanitation status of rural households, protect environment, save time and energy, and generate income and campaigning to declare pollutant free zone by promotion of Improved Cooking Stoves (ICS).
Mission: Matribhumi is committed to achieve the following:
Improve health and sanitation status of rural households through use of clean stoves,
Ensure to reduce effects of respiratory diseases, particularly lower respiratory infections such as Pneumonia among children, an Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases (COPD) among women and fewer eye problems,
Reduce the drudgery of women as they spend less time collecting fire wood, cooking and washing dishes,
Increase the level of participation of women in decision making process and increase the involvement of men in kitchen work,
Protect environment and conserve natural resources by reducing emission of Green House Gases (GHGs) and in door pollutants,
Fulfill the demands of energy in affordable cost with the use and promotion of locally available resources,
Promotion of organizational activities by coordination with national and international supporting organizations,
Conduct activities in research, innovation and design of modern products to fulfill the current demands of consumers.

Company Track Records
The research and innovation regarding to clean energy technology was started from 1998 and ICS installation started individually from 2002. Then, official installation of M-ICS from Matribhumi Urja was started from 2011 after company registration. Till date, 3,062 M-ICS were installed and 6,825 are under installation process. Partnership
Matribhumi Urja Company was established in 2011. Before that, Improved Cooking Stove (ICS) had been installed in different places and households of Nepal and a total 3,062 ICS were installed. Then, Technology is modified and Matribhumi Urja Pvt. Ltd. company was established in 2011 and started M-ICS installation. A total of 9,887 M-ICS were installed and is under installation.
Regarding to partnership, Matribhumi Urja has its own clean technology which is simple, affordable and local resources are used to install M-ICS. People with very low income can afford M-ICS which is the positive aspect for popularity. Company has long experience in M-ICS installation in local context, technology, technical manpower and marketing strategy. Furthermore, It has good networking and support from national agencies, NGOs and INGOs including UN organizations. The major Contribution in partnership from Our side will be:
