Clean Cooking Activities

Working in partnership with our sister company, Sunbird Bioenergy, Sunstove is building end-to-end clean cooking ecosystems in countries where Sunbird operates large-scale bioethanol biorefineries including Sierra Leone and Zambia. We provide a wholesale solution that includes bioethanol fuel and cookstoves that enable retailers to offer clean-cooking solutions to their urban customers.

Partnership

Sunstove Africa seeks to partner with the Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA) to scale the adoption of bioethanol cookstoves in regions where its sister company, Sunbird Bioenergy, operates renewable fuel biorefineries — including Sierra Leone (and Mano River region), Zambia, and Ethiopia.

Together, this partnership would combine:
• Sunstove’s clean cooking technology and distribution model
• Sunbird’s local ethanol production capacity and supply security
• CCA’s global expertise, funding partnerships, and market development frameworks
