Our Team

Michelle is a Market Strengthening Associate for the Clean Cooking Alliance. She supports the CCA’s market strengthening efforts by understanding market dynamics, evaluating new investment opportunities, conducting outreach, and nurturing our portfolio and donor relationships. Prior to CCA, Michelle began her career in the banking sector working at Stanbic Bank Kenya in their Personal and Business Banking division. She then transitioned to impact investing in emerging markets, gaining valuable experience in early-stage venture accelerator programs execution and portfolio management support while working for an international non-profit, Village Capital.

She recently took on a fellowship where she accelerated venture growth by developing continuous cycles of value creation activities for growth stage tech portfolio & pipeline companies at Capria Ventures, a Global South investment fund of funds.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Actuarial Science.
