Thanking Hillary Clinton
Over the last few weeks many groups have publicly thanked Hillary Rodham Clinton for her tenure as Secretary of State, which, among other accomplishments, elevated women and girls’ issues to the forefront of the U.S. government’s development and diplomatic priorities.
The level of public awareness about the cookstoves issue and the progress reached thus far by the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves and its partners would not have been possible without the Secretary’s leadership and passion.
