Clean Cooking Activities
As researchers we have working in gas measurements stoves and a methodology for implementation in the country. We do a “manual wood” detailing departments of more consumption, the type of wood used, the cultures and others was performed. We are interested as academy to perform a “control center clean cookstoves”, where emissions from stoves will be evaluated and a cluster with people of important organizations of stoves will decide the best clean cookstoves found in the studies performed. It also seeks to reduce the use of firewood per family with the implementation of clean cookstoves through a methodology of cultural acceptance as activities with families, stoves fairs, among others.
Partnership
We will join partnership to first: be able to participate in the request for proposal, to contribute as academy to change the use of wood in our country in the rural areas. We will contribute as a “control center of clean cookstoves” to evaluate the gas emissions, establish the top cookstoves that people acceptance in their houses, perform clean cookstoves fairs, and other activities related. We are working with the apartment “Producción mas limpia (Clean production)” of MARN (Ministerio de Ambiente y Recursos Naturales) to evaluate ways to reduce the use of fossil fuel, the reduce use of wood, gas emissions and hybrid systems; that apartment is a key to work with this topic use of clean cookstoves.
