Clean Cooking Activities
Yummy Foods Corporation manufacturers clean and green energy highly efficient Pans and Cookstoves which produce smokeless radiant heat through LPG and have long heat retention capacity. The Cookstoves save energy, water & emissions of up to 90%. The Innovation won the British and International Invention of the Year Double Gold Award at the British Invention Show in 2012.
Once the cooking technology is rolled out, we expect it will provide major benefits to the urban and peri urban populations whose main source of cooking fuel is charcoal. It is designed to use as little as 1/10th of the cost of charcoal to cook a traditional meal; hence reducing the cost of fuel and the destruction of trees due to the efficient use of fuel. Due to its low smoke emission, it will also mitigate on the health problems associated with smoky kitchens.
Our services include: Developing Grassroots Energy supply chains - including entrepreneurship skills support; We train in energy and energy efficiency technologies; and continuous research and technology development.
Partnership
To manufacturer Clean Cook Stoves and energy efficient pans in order to avail improved socio-economical conditions to rural and urban households across Africa. Adopting our technology will enhance energy efficiency by up to 90% over existing cooking fuels and bring other value additions.
We are partnering with GACC in it's mission to ensure 100 million homesteads are using improved cook stove and cleaner cooking fuels by 2020.
