Clean Cooking Activities
Nam Anh’s development strategy aims at the field of production of cook stoves and environmentally friendly fuels, altering industrial fuels. Nam Anh is established in 2012, attracted more than 20 local jobs, a member of wood pellet association in the
North of Viet Nam. Currently, in rural areas of Vietnam, small households and home-based business mainly use charcoal stove as cooking tools. Meanwhile, charcoal is a type of industrial fuel which is very harmful to the health of users. Two product categories of Nam Anh are cook stoves and clean fuels with the aim of replacing charcoal stove, towards increased economic efficiency and health of users. In fact, the main users are housewives and small street food shops whose owners are mostly women. Thanks to the use of Nam Anh’s products, women will save cooking time (effective cooking), ensure health protection (non- toxic) and gain economical efficiency (affordable).
Partnership
Nam Anh would like to participate in this partnership because we really want to learn and connect with more partners working in clean energy fields in the world. Nam Anh is an active company and a member of Vietnam wood pellet association then we believe that we also can contribute our experiences as well as Vietnamese clean energy case study in this partnership.
