Clean Cooking Activities
I had the opportunity to participate in a one-month fellowship with the Lancaster Environment Centre and the Centre for Global Eco-Innovation - University of Lancaster, United Kingdom, which was sponsored by the Commonwealth Scholarship Secretariat. During this fellowship, I had the opportunity to learn about environmental issues and climate change. Since this experience, I have developed a special passion for supporting climate friendly initiatives such as carbon emission reductions and energy efficiency. Clean cookstoves fall into this category to help mitigate carbon emissions. I am a banker by profession, but I also consult for SMEs.
Partnership
My organisation can help build capacity and support awareness creation by leveraging our network of financial institutions and the government to raise funds to support the provision and distribution of clean cookstoves.
