Mission

Proyecto Mirador is a non-profit, Gold Standard registered carbon emission reduction project that builds fuel-efficient Dos por Tres plancha based cookstoves. From third-party evaluations we estimate that our stoves provide 10 times the stove cost in benefits to our 475,000 users.

Clean Cooking Activities

Proyecto Mirador is a non-profit organization that sells Gold Standard voluntary market carbon offsets to pay for the construction of Dos por Tres fuel efficient stoves in rural Central America. Dos por Tres stoves remove toxic smoke from homes; reduce CO2 emissions that cause global warming; save trees and create jobs.

Partnership

Proyecto Mirador contributes a no-cash, fully scalable business model that enables the poorest of the poor to access clean cooking technology. Mirador emphasizes training and maintenance to ensure stoves survive for 5 years or more.
