Sustainable Energy for All: Accenture, in collaboration with the United Nations Global Compact worked with over 70 Global Compact-member companies to® define the role of, and the value proposition to, the private sector with regards to engaging and supporting Sustainable Energy for All. Work was focused in the areas of
Providing access to energy in areas where it doesn't exist;
Increasing the investment in and development of® Renewable energy generation, and;
Investing in and implementing energy efficiency programs. The analysis and recommendations where conducted and presented across 19 individual industries based on unique energy generation and consumption profiles.
Energy Access for Development Impact: ® To capitalize on the SE4ALL insights, Accenture Development Partnerships established the Energy Access for Development Impact (EADI) initiative.® Through the EADI commitment, Accenture seeks to increase the impact that it can have in international development by focusing on several key factors:
Leverage Accenture's capabilities, assets and client network to provide skills and connections
Going beyond a traditional fee for service model, to develop and deliver projects in true partnership, with cross sector co-investment and shared value
Developing solutions with sustainable business models to ensure that the solutions are both scalability and replicable

The team works to develop sustainable energy projects that are scalable and underpinned by sustainable business models. ® Accenture Sustainability Services brings experience in sustainability strategy, sustainable energy, operational excellence, and intelligent infrastructure, along with a deep understanding of the challenges that private sector led solutions may face.
