Clean Cooking Activities

We have conducted capacity building trainings on Fuel Efficient cooking Stoves in 7 districts attended by 214 persons(128 w, 86 m) in 2013. Made with locally available material this smokeless stove has two chambers, an inlet, for fuel wood from where smoke is transferred to the second chamber and removed through a stack or chimney.

Once fuel wood starts burning and cooking process starts, there is no place from where smoke is released except for the outlet (stack). We have received very positive results form these trainings. Women in all areas have made these stoves and are using them.

Partnership

We can participate in research and advocacy on the importance of clean cooking stoves for women and their health. In addition sharing our experience related to the fuel efficient cooking stoves.®
