As the deforestation rate is among the worlds highest, and over 80% of the population is reliant on biomass, efficiency is essential. JVE has an ongoing project distributing improved ovens for charcoal, partnering with oven/charcoal producers/sellers.

Clean Cooking Activities
An ongoing project has targeted (with assistance) manufacturers, charcoal producers and sellers, users (by disseminating 3000 ovens) and decision-makers (by proving the effectiveness and pushing for inclusion in plans/strategies).
Partnership
We have experience in demonstration, sales and distribution of ovens through an established network, as well as close relationship with desginer/manufacturer. We would really benefit from knowledge and exp. sharing, and access to networks and funding.
