Lamp Glow Industries is the Master Distributor for SmartEnergysystems International AG based in Germany and is a strategic alliance partner of independent companies and institutions with complementary technology, expertise and market focus in the water purification, green energy efficient residential homes/commercial construction and renewable energy facilities. Our understanding of the culture and sensitivities of the people in our target markets enable us to design power units that will fit their budget and yet be cost efficient. ® Access to electrical power is one of the primary driving forces of a modern society. Clean Cooking Activities
We are currently working with the countries of Senegal, Liberia, Ghana, Mali, Chad, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Nigeria, Kenya, Malawi, and Cote' de Ivorie to establish sales, distribution and training of CleanCook Stoves, biofuels, solar water purification, solar street lighting and other renewable technologies with public/private organizations.

Energy Poverty in the Developing World-Energy is essential to meet our most basic needs: cooking, boiling water, heating, lighting. It is also a prerequisite for good health—a reality that has been largely overlooked by the world community. More than 3 billion people still burn wood, dung, coal and other traditional fuels inside their homes. Much of this energy is purchased, not gathered, at ever increasing prices. The resulting indoor air pollution is responsible for more than 4.5 million deaths per year—mostly young children and their mothers. Millions more suffer from chronic respiratory disease. So many families are faced with an impossible dilemma: don't cook with solid fuels, or don't eat a cooked meal.
Designed around the chemistry of alcohols: safe and efficient.
Does not place alcohol under pressure or store alcohol as a liquid that can spill.
Evaporates the fuel into the burner, combusts as a gas.
Key to its technology is the fuel canister, the combustion chimney and an engineered fuel-air mixture; burns hot.
® The fuel is charged into the stove as a liquid, is stored as a solid and burned as a gas. The CleanCook Stove has a unique fueling system. The fuel is charged into the canister as a liquid and adsorbed onto a fiber filling. The fuel will not spill and cannot explode. The result it is a very safe stove.
