EEP Africa Knowledge Week is a series of online events that examines evolving themes and innovative projects in the clean energy sector in Africa. The event this year includes sessions on Investor Readiness, the upcoming EEP Africa Call for Proposals, and the Clean Cooking Ecosystem.
We are pleased to have an exciting group of speakers drawn from the sector. We also look forward to announcing EEP Africa 2022 Project of the Year and our 2022 Rising Energy Leaders during the week.
Demystifying Investor Readiness – March 14
What does investor readiness mean? What are investors looking for? What and how can my business prepare to be investor ready? How do I know what type of investment to seek for my business?
Open Capital, provider of Business Development Services & Investment Facilitation for EEP Africa, will answer these questions and those of the audience. The presentation from Open Capital will be followed by a panel of financiers, moderated by EEP Africa Head of Portfolio Susanne Hounsell. The winners of the Project of the Year and Rising Energy Leaders awards will also be announced.

EEP Africa provides risk tolerant early-stage grant financing for locally driven innovative clean projects, technologies, and business models through a competitive call for proposals process. Project financing is supplemented by technical support, investment facilitation, and knowledge sharing.
