Webinar: PIF Lessons Learned from Ecozoom East Africa
Please join the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves (Alliance) on Tuesday, November 15 at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) for a webinar designed for Alliance new and existing partners. This webinar is part of a series that provides an introduction to the Alliance for new and current partners and an overview of how we work, the benefits of partnership, highlights, upcoming opportunities for partners, and features on specific tools, resources, or engagement activities. In addition, this webinar will provide an overview of the results and lessons learned from the EcoZoom East Africa’s Pilot Innovation Fund (PIF) project. As part of the third round of PIF, this project tested three distribution models for pellet fuel, including distribution through Community Health Volunteers (CHVs). EcoZoom will also discuss the results of their loyalty and rewards program to incentivize continued pellet purchases. The Alliance’s Pilot Innovation Fund provides grants to finance game changing technology and business model innovations in the clean cookstoves and fuels sector.
The first 5 minutes of the webinar will familiarize partners with the work of the Alliance. Current partners are encouraged to listen in to learn about new programs, resources, and events that may be of interest.
The next 40 minutes will feature an overview of distribution models for the uptake of pellets in the Kisumu region of Kenya.
The remaining 15 minutes of the webinar will be reserved for Q&A. The Alliance encourages partners to take advantage of this opportunity to engage with EcoZoom directly about their lessons learned.
