Bettering Human Lives Foundation
Launched in January 2024, the Bettering Human Lives Foundation (BHLF) aims to improve affordability and accessibility to LPG as a clean cooking fuel in sub-Saharan Africa. The foundation provides low-interest loans to small/mid-size entrepreneurs/businesses seeking to grow their businesses in LPG last-mile distribution or LPG cookstove manufacturing. The loans support LPG cooking solutions only and have ranged from $20,000-$495,000. Loans are available on a rolling basis to entrepreneurs/businesses working in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria (Niger Delta), and Zambia.
