WiSER Pioneers Program
Since 2015, the Women in Sustainability, Environment, and Renewable Energy (WiSER) program has focused on the core pillars of education, engagement, and empowerment, and is born of the UAE leadership’s longstanding and continuing commitment to the role of women; a commitment traced directly back to the vision of the late founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Education forms the basis of WiSER’s training and mentorship programs, developing leadership skills with a focus on sustainability principles. Engagement lies at the heart of our enriching field trips and high-level events, enabling women to expand their understanding of sustainability and forge meaningful connections. Empowerment drives our events, bringing together global influential leaders to collaborate and find solutions to gender and sustainability issues.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Women professionals aged 25 to 35
- Employed or self-employed with a degree in environment, energy, sustainability, or STEM fields, with at least two years of work experience
- Proficiency in spoken English
