Technology and Fuel innovation projects awarded

Technology and Fuel innovation projects were awarded as part of the latest round of the Alliance’s Pilot Innovation Fund grantees.  Colorado State University will develop an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) add-on to high firepower woodfuel cookstoves.  Ecosur Afrique aims to revolutionize how char-briquettes are manufactured through the introduction of a modern biomass pyrolysis kiln. The other two Pilot Innovation Fund grantees focus on innovations for distributing fuels (ethanol with Novogaz and POET LLC, pellets with Ecozoom and PATH. Full announcement.
