A call to entrepreneurs: Apply for a SOCAP scholarship by June 15
Join the Alliance at SOCAP 14 – a conference dedicated to increasing the flow of capital towards social good. Once again, the Alliance is partnering with Social Capital Markets, or SOCAP, to offer scholarships for clean cooking entrepreneurs to attend the annual event. The conference, from September 2-5 in San Francisco, will feature a week of panels, workshops and networking with investors, foundations, governments, and other social entrepreneurs.
In addition to entrepreneur scholarships, the Alliance will work with SOCAP to offer targeted networking and match-making opportunities to meet investors, and capacity building to ensure entrepreneurs get the most out of the conference.
This follows on the Alliance’s efforts at SOCAP last year to highlight the sector's progress by hosting an innovation showcase featuring seven promising companies in the clean cooking sector.
