Top TV program in the U.S. features clean cooking

As part of a story on the relief efforts of Alliance Ambassador José Andrés, the news program 60 Minutes highlighted clean cooking and featured videos on its website about charcoal and gas for cooking in Haiti. Co-hosted by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, 60 Minutes is the most-watched television program in the United States.

The life-changing impact of a cleaner cooking stove

“If you reduce the time a woman is in the kitchen, you increase her ability to help her family prosper,” says chef José Andrés about his work to bring clean cookstoves to Haiti.
