2017 SAFE Workshop Report

For the fourth consecutive year, the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves and several partners hosted the Safe Access to Fuel and Energy (SAFE) Humanitarian Workshop to build capacity and convene the diverse group of actors engaged in providing energy solutions to crisis-affected people.  The event was a critical opportunity to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and facilitate collaboration between and among aid organizations and other stakeholders. This report provides information on the workshop sessions, participants, key themes, and outcomes.

The 2017 SAFE Workshop was co-hosted by the Alliance, UNHCR Kenya, the United Nations Foundation, IOM, and WFP with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad).
