Humanitarian Factsheet
Over 134 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance today. Although a robust humanitarian system exists to provide food, shelter, and medical assistance, many crisis-affected people lack access to adequate fuel and technologies to safely cook their meals. This fact sheet explains the need for cleaner fuels and more efficient stoves for refugees and displaced people and summarizes the work of the Alliance’s humanitarian program.
