Improved Cookstoves and Better Health in Bangladesh
Lessons from Household Energy and Sanitation Programs
This study is a collaborative effort between the World Bank and the government of Bangladesh under the overall leadership of the Local Government Engineering Department, Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives of Bangladesh. The report has also received significant support from several agencies of the government of Bangladesh, including the Infrastructure Development Company Limited, the Department of Environment, and the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research.
