Mission
To improve the capacity o communities, particularly the poor, by developing tools and methods in determining climate change, its impacts, and vulnerabilities, as well as possible adaptation and mitigation options in order to reduce the risks associated with climate change. This is achieved by establishing institutions active in the climate change sector, promoting cooperation with relevant stakeholders to undertake climate change projects, advocating for policy and regulatory reforms, and undertaking targeted research studies.

ADAPT-Nepal is a "not-profit-distributing" engineering company initiated in 2008 to improve the capacity of communities, particularly within poorer communities. The company develops tools and methods to determine environmental impacts with particular focus on: climate change, green economies, GHG emission and weather, climate, and water-related issues.
The company promotes low carbon emission development strategies, works for the enhancement of a knowledge base, scientific information, and skills on greenhouse gas inventory, including estimation of CO2 and CH4 emission factors.
The company has successfully accomplished Preparation of Greenhouse Gas Inventory for Second National Communication under Ministry of Environment of Nepal.
