Clean Cooking Activities
ALite’s business objective is the promotion, sale and distribution of a power generation product. The product takes a traditional wood burning stove and integrates thermoelectric (‘TE’) technology into the wall of the stove. Each stove becomes a mini power station that generates over 100 Watts of electrical power and up to 1 kilowatt. ALite believes that this product addresses a huge emerging market opportunity created by a confluence of social, political and economic forces. Managing biomass fuel, reducing/managing smoke particulates, creating valuable electricity, generating controlled heat for cooking, inspiring the farmer to improve farm waste management by helping deliver electricity to his family and community in turn advancing human well-being through so many consequences of electricity use.
