CEESD aims at promoting clean cookstoves in all 10 Regions of Ghana, as a way of reducing deforestation and indoor air pollution, reducing workload on firewood/charcoal use, and reducing climate change.

Clean Cooking Activities
CEESD is the organization implementing the first CPA of the African Improved Cooking Stove PoA of Envirofit International. The first CPA involves 4,500 stoves in two districts in Ghana.

CEESD has experience on carbon development of improved cookstoves; marketing, distribution, and promotion of clean cookstoves; tracking of distributed stoves, and data recording and verification.
