Clean Cooking Activities
We are interested in building the capacity of small self-help women's groups and empower them to become entrepreneurs by investing in the production and distribution of clean cookstoves and briquettes. These efforts help women entrepreneurs persuade other community members to adopt to pro-environment practices through different channels.
Partnership
We would like to participate as local partner/implementer to promote the use of clean cook stoves in Karamoja sub region in Uganda. We can help to sensitize the community on the importance of using clean cook-stoves and create markets within communities. We would like to provide cash incentives to critically vulnerable households through provisions of cash vouchers to meet 70% of the cost to enable them to attain at least one clean cook-stove.
