Clean Cooking Activities

We have created two separate streams of income, to make the clean cookstoves affordable for the masses.
Every stove is being sold for 40% of the production costs, of which 25% is being provided as a sales provision. Thus, 70% of the production costs are covered by funds, donations and sponsoring.

With this model we make sure it is in reach for virtually everybody that needs it, due to the low price and the possibility to pay in installments or enroll in a micro credit program. The model also guarantees that buyers are committed to actually change their habit and use the clean cookstove in their household.

Next to selling the stoves, we have set up a closely branched network of wood pellet points of sale, in cooperation with the existing infrastructure of tuck shops and spaza’s. From the money being made with the fuel, we are supporting NGO’s in doing their valuable work.

Partnership

Clean Cooking Revolution operates as any other business, but proceeds made from selling our stoves and the fuel at competitive prices are used to make them available to off-grid communities around the country at an affordable rate. Next to that, earnings support NGO’s to create a sustainable income streams for them to continue and grow their activities. Clean Cooking Revolution would like to expand its impact through increased partnerships with other organizations, champions, and chefs.
