Clean Cooking Activities
As a faith based organization, we have a God-given mandate to promote responsible stewardship of natural resources and the environment, while promoting human dignity and ensuring sustainable livelihoods. Kitui county is an arid and semi-arid area that surfers from diminishing forest cover due to exploitation of fuel sources for conventional cooking technologies. We seek to promote the adoption and use of clean cooking technologies and fuels to sustainably mitigate environmental degradation , pollution, climate change, and diminishing forest cover to ensure sustainable development
Partnership
Caritas kitui seeks to enrich global partnerships with our local experience as implementer in the sector of clean cookstoves. We also seek funding opportunities to continue promoting large scale adoption and use of clean cooking technologies by women who are the greatest beneficiaries of these products. We also seek to strengthen our learning, knowledge, and skills through Global Alliance knowledge capital and networks.
