Clean Cooking Activities
EGA manufactures and distributes a range of clean cookstoves and fuels, through our factories in Malawi and South Africa and our distribution channels throughout the continent. EGA has produced over 4 million cookstoves for rural households in the continent. These stoves use a significantly reduced amount of wood as fuel, thus reducing the need for deforestation, as small branches or twigs are all that is required. In Malawi, we have our own sustainable firewood on sale, as well as our biomass pellets.
