Its mission is to work in partnership with people across Yemen as they recognize their own power, work together, transform their communities, and influence regional, national and global development practices, strategies and policies. Grassroots is committed to ensure the inclusion and full participation of all social groups.

Clean Cooking Activities
Grassroots Yemen committed to introducing a demonstrable model for the role that can be played by Yemeni Civil Society in introducing, promoting, and scaling-up integrated solar and improved fuel-efficient cooking technologies to meet people’s current crucial energy needs through facilitation of the involvement of grassroots women entrepreneurs in the delivery and leadership of energy services.
Partnership
Promotion of the Alliance and work to raise awareness of the health, environmental, gender and livelihood impacts of clean cooking solutions. And direct involvement in the implementation of clean cooking solutions, which may include design, manufacture, distribution, marketing, or sale of cookstoves by the private sector, NGOs, humanitarian groups, etc.
