Clean Cooking Activities
The organization focuses on a number of activities including designing and developing efficient bioenergy technologies and biomass fuels such as household cooking stoves (charcoal stoves, wood stoves, ovens), institutional stoves and fuel lighters from agricultural residues, besides disseminating the technologies to the final consumers. We train local artisans and empower women and youth on new innovations, as well as consultancy within the renewable/clean technology market. We also carry out studies on environmental implications of using renewable resources versus conventional resources and, life cycle assessment for biofuels.
Partnership
The organisation will provide clean cooking solutions including designing, fabrication, distribution, marketing and selling of improved cookstoves, biofuels and other clean cooking technologies. We shall provide professional services such as research, testing, capacity building in form of training and business support to other clean cooking implementer.
