Clean Cooking Activities
As part of our strategy and focus into renewable energy, clean cook stoves is one of the areas carbon monoxide emission can be reduced in Nigeria due to the high volume of Nigerians using firewood. These individuals do not know the harm firewood causes, likewise they do not understand the benefits of clean cook-stoves. Our interest stems from attaining our social goals by working with rural unbanked populace who mostly use fire woods and ensuring they are financially included and graduate from firewood to clean stove.
Partnership
We would like to be an implementer focused at consumer finance for distribution of clean stove. We are seeking partnerships with manufacturers for retail end distribution of clean stove to our existing clientele and new target market. The partnership has to be mutually beneficial as there has to be sensitization campaigns carried out in areas where firewood is majorly being used on the health impact of the firewood and cons of the clean-stove. Such persons will be availed clean-stove via consumer finance by the bank. The bank is interested in partnering with funders for debt financing targeted at clean stove financing.
