Clean Cooking Activities

Our strategy is geared toward: Strengthening the technical and financial capabilities of all stakeholders involved in the value chain of TRETs for domestic, productive and community use (manufacturers, distributors, marketers and end users); Supporting the development of TRET markets characterized by high quality, efficiency, and safety, while promoting innovative products, technical regulations, and adequate standards; and Positioning TRETs as a viable alternative for driving sustainable livelihoods.

Entrepreneurs promoted by the fund have sold more than 15,000 improved cooking stoves; 2 out of 3 ha been sold, increasing the sustainability of access to a type of technology that is usually subsidized.
