Clean Cooking Activities
Our first product is InSight, a® mobile-telephone-based tool that enables ˜offline, underserved individuals to perform basic daily accounting, demonstrate their creditworthiness, and access a suite of resources and financial services via SMS and voice - all at no cost to the user. Through InSight, we gather real-time PPI data on users on a continuous basis. These data are integrated with demographic data to generate credit scores that are shared with lenders to help individuals qualify for and find access to affordable loans tailored to their needs.
There are several banks and NGOs in Africa and on the Indian sub-continent utilizing InVenture's data collection and proprietary scoring algorithm to reduce lending risk, increase market intelligence, and measure the impact of their financial activities. As of 2013, InVenture has established new operations in emerging markets in Latin America and North America as well.

InVenture's work has been recognized by TED, Ashoka, USAID, Forbes, The Economist, FastCompany and TechCrunch, and InSight won the 2012 Vodafone Americas Foundation Wireless Innovation Project. InVenture CEO Shivani Siroya is a 2013 TED Fellow, 2011 Echoing Green Fellow, and a 2011 Unreasonable Fellow. In 2012, Bloomberg Businessweek recognized her in the top 5 on its list of "America's Most Promising Social Entrepreneurs".
