Clean Cooking Activities
The mission of this program is to alleviate poverty and enhance the quality of life in Uganda East Africa by empowering women to raise their standard of living through self-sustaining micro-enterprise. This enterprise will utilize the ultimate renewable resource, sunshine, to cost-effectively provide a needed food staple while combating the destructive forces of deforestation and working to decrease desertification.The combustion of fuel released from wood fires releases greenhouse gases (GHGs) such as carbon dioxide into the atmosphere with potentially serious costs to the global economy and environment. When replacing wood fueled baking each bakery location will eliminate the burning of over 50 tons of wood and eliminate 82.5 tons of CO2 emissions per year.

Kapotec foundation UG LTD, started on mobilizing communities in the Albertine Region of Uganda in East Africa, In self sustaining micro-enterprise which are environmentally friendly without endangering the Eco-system through capacity building program in the target community areas.Carried on community sensitization and identified and trained trainers in energy saving stove construction and biogas,pellet/briquettes and solar energy use .
