The Kodaikanal Cookstove Project has been underway for 8 years for the purpose of installing cleaner burning and more efficient cookstoves in the community of Kodaikanal in Palni Hills of Tamil Nadu South India
Partnership
The Kodaikanal Cookstove Project has been very successful in the implementation of cleaner cookstoves with a very high rate of user acceptance and utilization. The team of implementers consisting of local craftspeople and volunteers have been very successful in educating villagers to the benefits of improved cookstoves. The demand for the cookstoves is very high.
