Mainstream is developing a catalytic cookstove, designed to improve efficiency and reduce particulate and carbon monoxide emissions, for distribution in developing nations. Advanced computational models and emissions testing are being used to refine and test prototype stoves. The long-term vision for this project is that these stoves will be made in developing countries without the need for sophisticated manufacturing equipment.
