Novogaz distributes clean cook ethanol stoves in Haiti . The production of ethanol in Haiti has a long history, the focus of the company is to produce ethanol for fuel through the cultivation of sugar cane and sweet sorghum . The use of charcoal and firewood has reduced the Haiti's tree cover to less than 2% , the company seeks to promote agriculture and biofuels to reduce charcoal production.
