Population, Environment and Development Center (PED)

Mission

PED's mission is to contribute to the sustainable development of the country, especially in regions of need. Its principles are: integrating economic development, social progress, resources and environment preservation, and population.

Clean Cooking Activities

Now, PED is running project "Piloting Pyrolytic Cookstoves and Sustainable Biochar Soil Enrichment in Northern Vietnam Uplands" Funded by EEP and CARE.

Partnership

We want to join in the Global Alliance for Clean cookstoves to increase the number of improved cookstoves in Vietnam. Now there are more than 1,000,000 ICS have been used.
