Mission
Prakti strives to dramatically increase the use of energy-efficient, clean-burning stoves at the base of the pyramid. We believe that no woman should have to undertake a daily activity as basic and essential as cooking under conditions that will damage her health, diminish her economic productivity, and corrode her opportunities for greater social empowerment.

We do stoves 'product development', including design, engineering, and manufacturing. We distribute stove through existing distributor. Product development: we gained unique experience in understanding what cooks for a particular region want in a stove. We developed unique technologies to allow us to customize stoves to specific needs in a cost effective way.

Clean Cooking Activities
Prakti offers four portable household stove models that reduce emissions by over 80% and reduce fuel consumption by more than 50%. The typical product lifespan exceeds five years with simple maintenance performed by the user during the third year.
Prakti’s line of household stoves incorporate a number of proprietary and patent-pending technologies that improve combustion characteristics, improve durability, and improve the user experience.
Prakti offers three portable institutional stove models that can reduce emissions by over 90% and fuel consumption up to 80%. The typical product lifespan exceeds five years with simple maintenance performed by the user during the third year. These models arrive fully assembled; but local assembly is possible with large orders

We work closely with local distribution partners, to provide stoves that fit users needs.
Prakti’s designs have earned contracts from major multilateral agencies, and from NGOs. We provide stove expertise for the project implementers, with a focus on understanding the user and the cooking practices.
