Clean Cooking Activities
RIMS Nepal got involved in implementation of several different activities that increased Community Forestry Users Groups (CFUGs) awareness on conservation benefits of clean energy technology and their access to resources to install improved cooking stoves (ICS) and biogas plants. Major activities involved capacity development and empowerment of women who are directly associated with the use of energy for household purpose such as cooking.
Partnership
We aim to work in partnership with local, national and international organisations in order to align and harmonize efforts towards reducing poverty and increasing environment and climate resilience. This will be achieved through networking and alliance building with communities and like-minded organisations at various levels.
We can contribute by getting involved in piloting and implementing innovative and environmentally sustainable and climate resilient technology (including clean energy technology) and practice that can help the society and nation to better manage environment and deal with climate change issues.
