Clean Cooking Activities

Our organization is has waged a serious war against the use of wood charcoal for cooking, production and marketing.During the campaign we were challenged to bring an alternative source of energy for domestic use. This led us to carry out research into clean cook stove production and briquette production from agricultural and industrial waste as source of fuel. The use of clean cook stoves will protect trees which provide oxygen for human existence. The use of wastes as a source of energy for domestic use makes the environment cleaner. The adoption of the stove creates job for 'market women and youths. Women and children will no logger die in large numbers of pollution from the kitchen. Money expended on kerosene, gas, firewood and wood charcoal will be channeled to other economic uses. If states like Kano in Nigeria are importing briquettes from Europe and America, it thus shows how viable this project is to Nigeria and indeed African continent.

Partnership

We need to be empowered to be able to provide the needed service to the people. Through partnership, we hope to learn more and improve in the techniques of stove and briquette production. We expect assistance to hire, train and procure tools and equipment for fabrication of stove and briquette machine as well as ceramic tools for clay stove production. We have the capacity to market the products efficiently. We also have the capacity to train women and youth in the art of stove and fuel production and to influence the adoption of the technologies.
