Clean Cooking Activities
The organazation; SAHEI has an interest in activities related to clean cookstoves, because it is one of the mandate of the organazation to mitigate and adapt to climate change activities in our communities by creating sensitization and raising awareness on issues that relates to climate change. Advocacy to community members, stakeholders and government is done to reduce the effect of climate change that is fast increasing. Therefore, promoting clean cookstoves to community members will go along way in mitigating and adapting to climate changes.
Getting people to be motivated towards behavioral change for the good of the environment can be a difficult task, however the organation is willing to be committed to the promotion of use of the clean cookstoves in other to provide a healthy environment .People need to be encouraged to use renewable energy for their daily activities and otherwise. The organazation will also promote, educate and persuade women to change the way they cook using firewood to using clean cookstoves and or/fuels. The organazation will also serve as a layout for selling the products clean cookstoves.
Partnership
The organazation will like to participate in this partnership in building capacity and empowerment of women on how to manufacture clean cookstoves. The organazation will also contribute by reaching to the grassroots through awareness creation on the importance of the use of clean cookstoves. We can also serve as vendors and distributors of clean cookstoves to the local communities and we are ready to pay any levy if applicable to participate in the project
