Our mission is to assist rural African communities to improve agricultural productivity and secure improved livelihoods. This has a natural link to f-e cookstoves, as environmental effects of traditional cookstoves is a negative factor for agri dev.

Clean Cooking Activities
Currently, our Malawi programme has a combined target of 50,000 fuel-efficient cookstoves, working in coordination with other NGOs. Our other country programmes are examining similar initiatives.
Partnership
SHA has experience with a fuel-efficient cookstove maker that links each individual cookstove to voluntary carbon markets - cookstoves have a unique serial number which can be traced on audit. SHA has 28 years of experience working with rural communities.
