Shared Value Africa (SVA) is a management and consulting firm offering products and services throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. SVA implements and invests in commercially driven projects that address socio-environmental risks through equitable partnerships. SVA specializes in designing and implementing market-driven approaches that meet the pressing need for energy, access to finance, nutrition, health and communications in low-income communities throughout Africa.

Clean Cooking Activities
SVA, is currently registering two SSC PoA's in Senegal and another one in Zambia. Additionally, we have conducted an in-depth survey on consumption of woodfuel and charcoal in Senegal and Zambia. We have designed our own cookstove, which will be produced in South Africa and assembled in various countries we are involved in. We are developing a business plan to establish a briquetting facility in Senegal using Typha, an invasive plant, and agricultural waste. We work closely with local CBOs to ensure our work is reaches the grassroots level.
Partnership
We are expert in CDM and climate change adoption and mitigation. We also have ingeneers who have lots of experience in designing stoves and other equipment related to clean cooking fuels. We have written numerous publications that the community can access. We have been called on to assist in various studies and market development.
