Mission
The SolarKiosk enables communities to create sustainable business in the rural areas worldwide, especially those not currently connected to an electric grid. The SolarKiosk business approach is based on a win-win inclusive business model. It consists of a partnership with local entrepreneur, who preferably female and hails from the respective community. Solar kiosk captures existing BoP expenditure on unclean energy sources and diverts them towards solar products and renewable energy services.

Clean Cooking Activities
Currently we are manufacturing the solarKiosks here in Addis Abeba Ethiopia. Kiosks are assembled on the sites. Currently the kiosks provide solar lanterns and FMCGs. We are also looking into providing clean cookstoves that work with solar energy. We want to manufacture these stoves and provide them to the BoP community at an affordable price.
Partnership
We would like to receive fund assistance so we can be able to produce the clean cookstoves locally and have it available to the BoP regions at affordable price.
